This App adjusts a target position in the brain on a stereotaxic instrument from Bregma and Lambada position in the stereotaxic coordinates and target position in an atlas (especially for rodents). It takes size and angle differences of the brain into consideration. You can use this App for viral injection experiment, electrode insertion experiment, etc.
1. Fill target position of the standard atlas in "Target (on Atlas)".
2. Fill Lambda position of the standard atlas (only AP) in "Lambda AP (on Atlas)".
3. Fill Bregma and Lambda position of a mouse on the stereotaxic coordinates in "Bregma (on Coord.)" and ''Lambda (on Coord.)'.
4. Push "CALCULATION" button.
5. The target position on the stereotaxic coordinates is shown in the "Target on Coord." The angle difference from the correct Bregma-Lamda line is also shown in "ang.H" and "ang.V".
AP... Anterior-Posterior (unit: mm or any)
ML... Medial-Lateral (unit: mm or any)
DV... Dorsal-Ventral (unit: mm or any)
ang.H... Horizontal (AP-ML) angle (unit: degree)
ang.V... Vertical (AP-DV) angle (unit: degree)
